Murrietta Fathers Day Car Show

We've made this show a few times now, it's close to Allen and John, this time Stu met me for the half hour trip up to meet at John's. Then we stopped for coffee and headed over. This is not a show you go to for a trophy, unless you have a real show car, but it IS something we can do on Fathers Day for ourselves !

So we had 3 ½ AMX's, John and Stu with 69's, my 70, and Allen's 71 Jav/AMX. It's always nice to go as a group, we seem to get even more recognition when people who don't look too closely end up having to see them, then they start talking !

We were not alone, a row over we spotted a primered 58? Rambler 6 banger. And it looks like it may be what they want as a finished project, hell, just keep'm on the road !

Another row over and we find a late 60's Rambler painted up like B scheme SC, I know it's not a real one....the 6 cylinder gave it away.

The Allen calls us over, he found a 72 Javelin, that makes 7 AMC's at this show....NICE !

Didn't get to talk to the owner, or the owner of the 58, but the wannabe/SC owner sounded like he was going to come to our show in May.

This is a nice relaxing show, they have food vendors, plus a small center across the street with more food.

Lots of cars & food, what else can a guy ask for.

With the movie “Car”s out, I had to add this pix, it's probably what an AMX would look like, talk about a 2 seater !

Damn, looks like I got some BBG on John's bumper, how the hell am I going to explain that....
